If you are running the manual integrity check, there is an automatic timeout that will occur if it takes over a minute for the integrity check to run.
If this is the case, you can SSH or putty into the VDP appliance and look at the /usr/local/avamar/var/vdr/server_logs/vdr-server.log.
About 1 minute after you submit the manual integrity check, you might see an entry that looks something like:
2013-05-08 13:02:41,287 ERROR [http-8543-exec-5]-service.AdapterUtils: Server failed to create checkpoint for server "c00389706"
- com.avamar.mc.sdk.client.RuntimeFaultMsgException: DPNSTORAGE_CHECKPOINT_CREATE_43a09062-8e80-4bd7-a9ab-59a867c5929d timeout: Creating checkpoint
at com.avamar.mc.sdk.client.McTaskWorker.doInBackground(McTaskWorker.java:72)
..... (more after this).
If you see this error, then it is based on the fact that the integrity check took longer than a minute to run.
We just submitted a KB article (it is in draft form as I am writing this) that should be published shortly that will provide a way to work around this issue while we work on a fix for a future release.
As soon as the KB article is published, I will post a link.
